I'm looking for easy mug rug ideas to give away at the womens "coffee" in June....I'd like to make one for every mug we give away. I'd like to make quite a few so...not difficult, please.

Randa, you can make mug rugs as easy or complicated as you want.
If you are going for fast and quick, just pick some fabrics with large food prints or whatever, cut it into desired size, then "pillowcae" it and finish it with some quilting or just leave it as is.
I am sure others will chime in too.

check out flickr.com and search for mug rugs. you'll literally see 100's maybe 1000's of mug rugs and get some great ideas for yours.
