Day One: Have been pushing and pulling quilts all over the dinning room table for years now.... As much as I would like a Beautiful Longarm machine and frame....as an elderly widow on a fixed income was not going to happen in my life time.....So went in search of something I could afford, something I could handle, something that would serve my need of quilting perhaps 1 to 2 quilts a month. My new/used frame arrived yesterday, took it out of the box last night...will assemble and play today. Will post my progress as I go. For now not going to post brand name until I have used and abused it and made my own opinions of it...From Southern California.....

Congrats...I lucked out and was GIVEN a frame, I love it. It is a Pennywinkle and I had never heard of that brand name but for free I would figure it out. Have loads of fun on yours!

I use a John Flynn FM frame and I love it. It's inexpensive and easy to use and doesn't take up any room when not in use. I have used it to quilt a king size with no problem, I did one side at a time. I think I paid about $120 for it new.
