    Change is always difficult but it seems to get easier the more you use it. I hope the members give it a chance. The possibilities are endless. Thank You

    I personally love the new look. It's been interesting looking around and discovering things I can do. Just takes a little time and I love learning new things, so I look at it as a challenge in my older years. LOL. Anyway congrats to the monitors and Patrice for all their hard work putting up with us.

    go to top of page click on settings, once there look on left scroll down a bit and click on general settings. scroll down to near the bottom and you will see this

    [h=3]"Miscellaneous Options[/h]<label>Message Editor Interface:</label>
    • <label for="rb_vbcode2"><input id="rb_vbcode2" tabIndex="1" name="showvbcode" value="2" type="radio"> Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing</label>
    • <label for="rb_vbcode0"><input id="rb_vbcode0" tabIndex="1" name="showvbcode" value="0" type="radio"> Basic Editor - A simple text box</label>
    • <label for="rb_vbcode1"><input id="rb_vbcode1" tabIndex="1" name="showvbcode" value="1" type="radio"> Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls</label>
    When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

    Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type."

    click on the top one and you will have your smileys back.

    I for one am pleased with the new changes. After a week, I am becoming comfortable and finding my way around. The old site was easy but new one has so much more! Thanks to all for their hard work.

    I am 76 years old and I mourn the loss of the old web site.The simplicity of it made me be able to enjoy it much' the new web site at my age needs a teacher along with it and as that does not exist I am ready to leave.I do not email people I do not do face book and I could enjoy the old site .They have eliminated people like me. and I am sad that that is how it goes.
