my craft booth items for 2011

before the big CHANGE, several of us were posting our things we were making for the craft bazaars/shows this year.
    here are a few of my "quilty" things!Name: 2011-11-11 001 008.JPG
Views: 6148
Size: 130.9 KBThere were made from Vintage German muffin tins! As they contained ZINC, it was best to make sure they could not be baked in, so they got a NEW life!

Size: 118.0 KBThese are "designer" pattern weights! Great for holding down templates while you trace around them, holding paper while your draw/trace, you name it!

Size: 152.3 KBThese are binding spools that your wind your binding onto after you press it! Makes it easier to get it on the quilt without it twisting up!

Size: 148.5 KBThese are the sewing machine magnets I designed/drew up and DH cut out on the scroll saw for me! I then could personalize them! Kids loved being able to buy something for Granny, or mom!

Size: 132.2 KBThese were quilt kits in a jar! The only thing I could not fit in was the batting and the time to make the runner..hehheh...these sold out fast! They got the batting, it was just in a bag and not in the jar!
I had a fairly good year, but NOT at all like past years!

Jacquie, your craft and/or quilting items are awesome. I especially love the weights and the binding spools. I am glad that you had a decent year and hope 2012 is much better for you.

Jacquie, I would have loved to have had you at the bazzar here. It is huge, but there wasn't much different or fun. I really like your items. Do you ever sell your stuff through the quiltingboard, like the magnets and the weights and such?

Love your ideas---the quilt in a jar, magnets, binding rollers (I usually just put mine on toilet paper cardboard rolls), etc.

btw, I'm also loving the books and Marti templates I purchased from you!

    Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
If no one ever experimented we'd all still be making 4 patches.

Those quilt kits in a jar are so appealing! What a fun gift that would be for anybody!! Presentation and packaging are such a draw. The idea of the kit being in a jar is delightful, and your labels are so professional!

What a great selection of items. Do you make the little sewing machines or are they available somewhere to just paint?

I read a thread on here very recently where a lady was looking for ideas to make for her sisters -- or sister inlaws-- for aa Xmas gift--but they were avid quilters and she wasn't. I think she should've given them a quilt in a jar and it would have been a perfect gift. I am going to keep that idea for a guft for quilting friends. All you ideas were very nice and looked like they were made very nice. I really liked teh sewing machine maganets, too.

Thank you all for the very kind words. I have been a professional crafter for as long as I can remember! As were my mother and father! I take pride in my work and my booth displays!
I did not offer these items for sale here, as the board was just changing and things were in a shambles as it were.
Perhaps at some point I will offer them up, as I do still have a few things! Except the quilts in a jar...

Some very nice things! I would have purchased some if you had posted them, but I do understand about the boards. Seems folks are not selling alot of stuff anymore there, I miss that alot. Hopefully things will get back to normal after the holidays.

Do you do mail order? I'd love to have some of those sewing machine magnets for some of my quilting buddies.

These items presented some great ideas. Could you tell me how much you asked for each of the items? We always have problems figuring out what the market will bear at a benefit sale. Sometimes we are too high...and sometimes we are too low. Great Job!
