ok finaly made my first bow tuck purse...sorta like it...but I used a batting 973 and the directions called for 987...I'm thinking the smaller the number the thicker the batting is?? My purse straps also stand at attention -- thinking I might like the bigger bow tuck over this mini... I shall give it a try LOL thanks for looking and any other suggestions you might be able to share

Very pretty! Thanks for sharing! (I prefer the heavier pellon in the body of the bag, but only use 1/2 the width in the handles)

Your purse is gorgeous and you made such good fabric choices! You said you sorta like it--what don't you like? I have the pattern (still unused). Was it difficult? I like the straps standing at attention--they're ready to shop!

That is beautiful! After you carry it for a while the straps will lose that stiffness.
