AWESOME! I live in an affluent area. We can find dynomite furniture at Good Will but fabric is unheard of.

I can't find anything thrifty in thrift shops any more. The prices here in ND are about the same as a sale item in Walmart, so why not buy new? I visited 2 today and am astounded that they can charge these prices on stuff they got free!! I walked by a very "out of style" mens sweater and it was marked $17.50!!! They had a bag sale at one - everything you could fit into a paper bag for $4 - but they'd emptied their racks into huge bins so you had it pick through it all. Is this happening everywhere?
