I posted earlier, but I wanted to say that your Goodwill find was fantastic (70 yards for $25)???!!!! But added to the first part of the story, it was EPIC. Thanks again for posting. I just love it!

"Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus". And he comes in many forms. Kudos to your DH for making someone else's Christmas a whole lot brighter. And congratulations on your score...what goes around comes around...usually two-fold. Merry Christmas to you and your DH.

Yes the universe always does pay back sooner or later, in one way or another. What a nice thing to do. And such great fabrics. :-)

What a wonderful story. But your real find is the smiles on the faces of those children. Fabric will always be there. Childhood doesn't last and Christmas is once a year. I'm sure this mother will some day tell these children this story of their true "Santa" for this year.

Bless you both!
