No it's not my sewing room although i love it there. I am talking about this board! There is always so much insiration and advice. I love that there is always someone out there going through the same thing. Thank You everyone for inspiration to keep going and try new things! There are so many different blocks i now want to try and various projects to take on and it's all because of you guys!!! It is SO nice to have this place to talk to friends and share ideas!!!!!!!  :-P

I was talking about all of you at my night guild meeting last night. Someone said that they are too nervous about all the bad things that they hear about the internet and they don't want to take a chance. I tried to explain everything good about this board and why I like it so much. She just said that I was very naive and too trusting. OK, maybe someone out there might be trying to "screw me over". But I feel so comfortable with all of you and I would rather be too trusting than become a cynic! I am planning on meeting with a couple of you on my trip to Ohio and she thinks I am crazy to meet with total strangers in an area I am not familiar with. I say, life is too short to be worried too much about that! I love people and I love quilting - I can hardly wait for some of these meetings. And I hope I can arrange more before I go!!! You guys make me happy!

Not to many perverts on a quilting forum!
now I worry about my kids on their sites but not this one!
Everyone worries about getting their info stolen
which I know does happen and can. But if you have a bank acct, your info is on computers anyway! maybe not your personal one but the banks do everything online as do the ins co and utilities.
If someone gets the info off those sites you are just at risk. Last year a friend of mines CC was cancelled because someone had gotten thousands of numbers from the credit unions. All the cards had to be reissued with new numbers.

This is my therapy group! I love this place. Everyone is so helpful and when we have ? someone is here to help us along.
There are no dumb questions, as this is the way we all learn. So if you have a ? post it and in the subject line put what is pertains to so others can see it at a glance and know what your ? is about.
Please be specific on the subject line!

I agree with all the above. I've only been here a short time, but love getting my coffee and getting to "the board"! It's become my morning quiet time routine, after DH leaves for work and DD's wake up.
Thanks to all for making it a comfortable place to talk with other quilters. I've even made a few local friends from here. :)
