    I just love your hexagons! I've got 3 complete blocks done in 6 years. I like what Hattie and Just Jan said. The flowers will make the background fabric feel too thin and a stabilizer might help that. The sashing is a great idea, except a neutral or light pastel would make the flowers pop more.

    I like your idea and also like the red sashing. In the picture the red looks brighter than the colors in the hexies and maybe that is throwing everyone off. Quilting them may tone them down a bit. Your quilt so do it your way. Great job!
