Well today I am off and I don' have to worry about how much time I'm spending reading QB and looking at pictures. I have a list of errands to run, a long over due haircut/color at 4pm but otherwise the day is mine!!!! One more latte and off to my quilting room "studio" I go :)

I have found that if I only read the first page (unless it's really relevant -- then I read all) and I do one task before I sit down and read, i.e. start the dishwasher or load of laundry, then I feel like I can go quilt the rest of the day and DH doesn't say anything!

I'm already at my office and reading the board. It is very slow today. I guess a lot of people are at home prepping their barbeque.!

Yes you do have an excuse. I don't see a picture of the Latte. I really want to see a picture of it. Mine is still a UFO. I hope to get back to it soon. I am over retirement age but with a farm there is no such thing as retirement. Like the others on here I tend to spend to much time reading the post and not sewing but that is ok. It is there waiting for me.

I found this board just after school was dismissed for the summer (I teach), and I don't know what I'm going to do when I return to the real world in August. Looking forward to retiring in a couple years.

I have been spending my evenings on the board and would be afraid to spend mornings too because I'd be late for work!

LOL.....I make sure I'm doing something as he's coming thru the door and he thinks I've been busy all day. If I'm sitting (but have been busy all day) it's "are you reading that quilting board again"? :) Got to love that man!

Once I get to my sewing room, I don't want to leave. I think quilting comes before house work, cooking, weeding, etc. Sometimes my husband doesn't understamd. like when he is hungry, but he had learned to survive.

OK, we all stated what should of gotten done, who got some of their hit list done?

Got done: hedging of the bushes, weeded/pruned etc 2 flower beds, dusted the FR and made 17 blocks. Didn't get the garden weeded and 3 more flower beds need weeding.

    Your turn!!
