but as I feared.. it was terrible nylon cheap stuff.....Terrible colors, very limted amts. and u had to take what was on a bolt.. no cutting.. $5.00 per yard! for junk!
I just know they will come back now and say.. " we put fabric back in the store and NOONE bought it"! grrrrrrrrrrr

I'd rather have no fabric than junk. Thanks but no thanks Walmart... I'll con't to shop elsewhere for most of my shopping. In fact , I may cut my 1 x per month trip to wally to less.....

You are exactly right. They are just trying to prove a point that they were right. I did have high hopes we would get ours back, but not now.

We still have ours and the fabric is really nice now but they do still carry some that is junk.

We have our Walmart fabric department {in Connecticut} but the fabric is not a good quality at all like it was years ago and I see more and more of those "bolts" of fabric that you have to buy the entire bolt and it is NOT a good quality at all. I prefer Joann's with the coupons of course and LQS, [mine has a back room for older fabrics 1/2 price and I live THERE].

Same here - thought I was seeing things at my WM a few days ago - there was a huge bin of the most nasty, sleazy fabric I have ever seen - all bundled up with rubber bands - $5 per "bolt" - horrible material - I would not even take it home if it was free. They took out our fabric department about a year ago.

NikkiLu..... that sounds like the exact same crap they had in our Local Walmart.....

I try to shop else where for almost ALL of my needs... from fabric but food as well...... I just HATE going to Walmart any more.....
