I have been working on getting my sewing room organized for months. Not doing any other part of quilting; except ironing fabrics; ruler folding each piece. Trimming off edges to make them square, sorting scraps and ironing them. Then cutting various sized squares out of every inch of fabric I could.

Please forgive me for not taking that great of pictures. My sewing room looks absolutely fabulous (in my opinion and the opinion of those who have been allowed to look) whereas the photos seem to still make it appear untidy.

I emptied at least 7 large totes by doing this. I must admit that I still have one more tote to go through. But I had to share. Now the last tote and then the chore will be to keep it looking this wonderful. Which truthfully, with as much time and effort that I have put forth....I do not think it will be a problem to put things back in their proper place and keep it nice and tidy.

Thank you for letting me share.

This is what my fabrics looked like before

This is how they look now

Each scrap was cut down to a specific size and placed in its own tote
