Got shipped yesterday, will be here next Monday. I am excited as I will be able to cut binding strips for my UFO's. Will also be nice to be able to cut strips that are the same from top to bottom.

Please let us know how it works. I have been contemplating getting one and it would be great to hear from someone that has one. Thanks

I have the Alto Quilt Cut 2. It's very heavy so have a dedicated place for it. Also you need to be able to walk around to both sides of the mat because you can't turn it around like a regular cutting mat. You need to use both sides to get the full use of the system. Practice using muslin first and be sure to put the guide in the very same place on the cutting line for each cut. The mat will last almost forver, it's the best cutting mat I have used. I ordered an extra cutting mat to use on it's own.

It is only 15 - 18 pounds. 18 pounds is on the invoice online and on the UPS shipping notice. I have a movable cutting table - on wheels that also folds down. Should be no problem walking around the unit, unless one of the dogs is laying under the table.

Oh, I want one of those too. Mine is to be a Christmas present though. So I have to wait a few more months.

I got the ACCUQUILT-GO too. Wanted to be able to do better cutting as I have a shoulder that drops on long cuts. Am right handed and no matter how I do it, my left shoulder drops which causes the mat to move, and I end up with cuts that are good where I started but OOPS by the end.
Walking up the ruler didn't really help either, still had the off cuts.
One reason I am getting the Quilt Cut 2 - RULER stays put! I also wanted to be able to do other kinds of cuts.
