Everybody is different but I get cramps in my ankles when I sew to long if the foot peddle is on the floor. He attached velcro to the bottom of the peddle and to the leg of the table so I can use the control with my leg. If you think this would be good for you the legs on your beautiful table look to be the right size for this.
Thank you what a great idea!!! Will keep this in mind .

What a talented husband you have!!! It is so nice that he could make your sewing more enjoyable with the thread holder and the table. He is certainly a keeper. Love what the two of you did to the house too!
I have a keeper in a husband too, but he can just change light bulbs!

We will celebrate 46 years of marriage in Sept. He is a keeper, just not handy with making things. He's always been a good money manager, and can take care of our 4 grandchildren alone if necessary. They are 7,5, and twins 2 1/2. He was also great at changing their poopy diapers when asked, and the little ones went to him to do it, starting with the 5 yr old when Mom was first expecting the twins and smells bothered her. :-D :-D :-D

Great looking table. Wish I had room for something that size.
