Default My super amazing estate sale find today!

I am still reeling with delight. I knew she was special when I spotted her under some discarded clothes at an estate sale, but I never dreamed she would have something so exciting!

She is worn, torn, decayed, frayed, but still filled with history, skill, and wonderment!

Ladies and gentlemen I give you, The KS crazy quilt of the 1890's!

I am going to post all of her pix in the pix section, so hop over and take a real gander at the stitches in this beauty!

We also just found another ribbon on it that says "stand up for kansas" will be googling/researching that next! OH and on the back, we discovered one of the muslins must have been a slip or something as it has most intricate lace edging, still attached to it!
