How much quilting do you have left to do? Maybe just useable regular foot, go slow, and be extra careful. I did that before I got a walking foot and it worked reasonably well. I say reasonably well because, as you know, it's lots easier with the walking foot.

A lot of those walking feet will work on different machines. I forgot mine one time for a quilt class and a lady let me borrow hers and it worked great.
Also, there are some very good prices on Amazon right now and if the order is shipped by Amazon they are very quick - at least they always have been for my orders.
If your quilt sandwich is thick, I recommend waiting for another walking foot. You want it to look the same plus if it's thick it really needs that even feed.
