You can bet the person who MADE this beautiful quilt wasn't the one who sold it for $5!! I'd come back and haunt my kids if they sold my quilts for that! :shock:

What a fantastic find. But it also breaks my heart that someone's hard work must not have been appreciated. Thank goodness it found your hands.

I am always shocked when someone has no clue of the value of a handmade item. I think of whoever made this with tears in my eyes. Glad you found it and will give it a good home. :thumbup:

Great find and beautiful quilt. I hope the quilter who made it doesn't know that someone sold it for $5.00. I would be horrified to know that someone that I had spend hours and hours making a quilt for sold it for $5.00.
