Default National Quilt Museum in Paducha,KY

Just came back from a trip to the National Quilt Museum and boy what a treat this was. The most beautiful quilts I have ever seen. Sorry no pics they do not allow cameras in the museum. I just thought I knew how to quilt boy do I have a long way to go. I came back with some good ideas though. The quilt that caught my attention was one that was appliqued and was done like an oriental rug. It look like a big beautiful rug to. The detail was just grand and the handquilting was to die for. If any of you members have not been I highly recommend a trip to KY.

It is a wonderful place. I haven't been there in several years so I need to go back as it changes.

I love the Museum. I alternate between being inspired and intimidated. And I love the windows.

It is wonderful ! ! And changes ALL the time. So, if you have seen it now, you haven't seen it in a few months. There is lots to see in Paducah.

Was there in June. Amazing quilts, lovely staff. I will NEVER be close to that level of quilting talent

The last time we were there was in 1993 - I'm sure it has changed a lot since then.

Me too. My mind was fried just trying to imagine all the work that went into the quilts.

The displays change constantly, so you can go back again and again.
