Default Need border suggestions

This is my red and black scrappy quilt so far— 120 4” squares sewed together. I need ideas for the border.

Pretty quilt, I would do a thin black border then a wider red one.

A small border and then a piano key border using all the colours in the top. Cute top!

I agree with Tartan. Narrow black and then piano keys. Very pretty!

I would go with a white inner border then a red outer one.

It's really pretty without a border.

Is there a size that you need it to be?
If not, it's a quilt, that to me, would look great finished without a border, and simply bound.

If you want the quilt larger, I would skip the border, and just add more of the same mix of blocks.
Then bind as above.

Good Luck!

Check out quilterscache.com, they have a section of border patterns.

I agree with everyone on here that a small border which would frame out your beautiful quilt. I think I would chose a white narrow border and like a couple of members have already mentioned that a piano key border with your extra fabrics from the quilt squares would look nice. Love your quilt and please let us know what you decide and share a pic
