Need a Boys Quilt pattern - something VERY unusual...but cute
#11
This will be for a newborn, but my daughter thinks she might like one for a twin bed. This is her 4th and will be her second boy...so I think she is going past the baby stage and thinking more future. The one I made the other gs was an applique with bear and toys.

I just bought a cool alien space pattern -- don't know how appropriate for a newborn, but my 2.5 DGS loved it.

Another snakes quilt...I made this for our grandson when he got a youth bed. It's about 58" x 68" with the suggested borders, but could be made larger.
It was a free pattern from South Seas Imports, but may not be available on the net anymore. I have the pdf file and could email it.

There was a very cute Dog pattern in Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting magazine last year? I think it was an extra pdf to download. The dogs ears are 3-D and very cute. The pattern was called Dog Daze and was a companion to Feline Frenzy another adorable pattern. Try their site and see if you can get it. OR if you buy their magazine look through your back issues for the maker and try her web site.

I made a BUNCH of HST with one half of each HST the same background fabric. I used brights for the other halves. I then laid them out in a zigzag pattern and made a 3-D type snake head to put in the seams at one end. I will try to upload a picture, but I am very technologically challenged.
