I like the hexagon table topper I saw today on Fons and Porter. It is episode 1801 and she said there is a pdf free pattern on their site. Could easily be done in holiday fabrics.

Hi,
Thank you for this, were you able to get the directions for this topper, when i went to their site, then into the tv series to get this pattern, it said "Please note that this show is currently available only through your public television station and is not yet available for online viewing." Is ther another way to get the pattern??

Go to F&P site and at the top of the page click on free patterns, look on left side of page and click on the quilt site (there are 3 different one-I don't remember which one I found the pattern in) the pattern is called Ozark Star table topper.

At the bottom of this page you will find turtorials etc. Click on turtorial and on pg 5 they have a tut from riversong that show you how to make a perfect octagon table topper. Have fun looking trough the tutorial! Hope you find this helpful. Blessings Barb

Love it! Bookmarked that page. It looks like a very easy one-day project. I wonder how to make it bigger? Use more strips? Bigger strips? hummmm
