    I agree. Darker because of the hand contact.

    I usually use one of the darkest colors so it will help "frame" the quilt.

    What I always do to be absolutely sure is put it on the wall (usually prior to quilting) and try on different strips and choose the binding that way. Have to see them all to get the absolute best eye appeal. But that's just me...
