My first thought was the floral, but any of the suggestions would work. a white piping might also be nice.

I would use the red. The blue has a lot of area, so I don't think it needs more. The red would put a nice accent around the edge.

QuiltE is right. A small stripe is one of my favorite bindings. Beautiful quilt. You can be very proud of yourself!

Thanks for encouraging me with your suggestions and kind words. I also started a new thread this morning in the picture section with the above pictures and descriptions http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-125564-1.htm Don't know why I didn't when I finished the quilt. And it DOES look better after washing!
