Default Need Help Finding A Gorgeous Pattern

I do not understand "Pinterest." I find it fun to look at, have "pinned" things I like to it and want to share; but to say I understand its entire purpose would be untrue. Yesterday I found many many pins of a pattern called "Fruit Loops." It is absolutely gorgeous. I spent the better part of an hour looking for it without any success. Would anyone who understands Pinterest and could help me find this pattern please step forward. You will have my undying gratitude.

If you click on the picture , it should pop up a new little window with a larger version of the picture, click on the picture again , and it SHOULD take you to the web page that it was originally pinned from.

    Is it this one? http://www.pinterest.com/pin/99290366759385355/

The pattern is actually called Island Chain from Kim Bracketts "Scrap Baskett Sensations"

Usually on Pinterest there is a button in the upper left corner that says "web site" and will take you to the original site that had the picture.

In my opinion, Pinterest isn't really a social media site; it's more of a visual bookmarking tool. Sure, you can share stuff and follow other people, but there's not a lot of interaction between people. If that's what you want, Instagram is probably more what you're looking for. Pinterest will bookmark pictures, which I like because I'm a visual person. It's easier for me to look at pictures to find a quilt or a tutorial I bookmarked, rather than to try and remember the name and search for it in a list.

I think the quilt you want is actually called Island Chain, in Scrap Basket Sensations by Kim Brackett.

Many thanks to one and all. Island Chain is the one.

I'm with you -- not sure I understand all the interest in Pinterest (what a poet!) But then I'm more "old school" I guess.

Love that quilt....and I have that book! I do pinterest, sort of. I just don't have the time to try to figure it all out. Maybe someday.

I get frustrated with Pinterest, too, for that very reason. While I like to look at the pictures, I want to see a pattern site, or who made it. But when I try to find that, it more often than not takes me to a site of ANOTHER person who just pinned it. Usually I give up!
