I have some of this fabric and used it in a log cabin quilt as the light side. I do agree with the rest of the members that a dark colonial blue or a red would be nice too. I am sure whatever you chose will look nice but be sure and share a picture please.

I used a similar fabric using a pattern called White Chocolate. I used all neutrals in the quilt because it was a wedding gift and I did not know what colors they would like.

Vey pretty... I saw a very pretty log cabin made out of neutrals in a small quilt shop just outside of Hamilton MO. It was beautiful and I have it on my mental 'to do' list. Should have bought the fabric that day!!

You have it resting on a couch/chair? that has a beautiful match to your fabric..I'd use that color, plus your fabric and a softer beige or off white that comes between the two colors in intensity.

How much do you have? 2 yds will make this. Use it as a background for a wonderful forest green or fall rose fabric. This is just an idea.

This was fun to make. This one is set on point but it can also go in the straight set pattern. If you scroll down in the attached link you will find the tutorial on how to make this. Jenny Doan, MSQ.

Your beautiful fabric would be very nice in a Hunters Star too.

Hope you find that special pattern and show us what you choose.

This is one of my favorite pieces of fabric....so I think you have wonderful taste in fabric! I like to use this with earth tone colors....rather an old idea, but I like it. Let me see if I can find the last quilt I used this for....

Okay, here it is, in case the colors appeal to you. Whatever you do with this fabric, you can't go wrong. It is beautiful.

I used a very similar colour in a hunter star quilt as the background and the colours were all fall like. I also used it in a Christmas quilt. It is a great color to go with blues.
