Default Juki Machine

I'm looking at a good deal from Sewing Machines Plus on a Juki HZL-400 computerized Sewing and Quilting Machine. Does anyone have this machine and do you like it? Is the throat space around 9 inches?
Thank you.

I always suggest that quilter's try out numerous machines just like when you buy a car. I did that and I am still quilting on my Bernina 1530 for over 20 years. Good luck with your search.

My Juki HZL 600 (same machine, just more stitches) has exactly 8 inches from the centre needle hole to the right but the height space is curved so that the overall harp space is not nearly as large as my Juki TL 98Q which has a rectangular harp space. I do know that my Juki HZL 600 has more throat space than my old Bernina 830 Record and I managed to stuff Queen sized quilts through it.
