I would be very hesitant to buy anything that uses floppy disks. I think you should check into this further.

Unlike a Brother, you cannot just drag and drop an embroidery file to a floppy for use in a Viking Designer 1. You need special software to create the correct directory structure.

This sounds like a "vintage" embroidery machine. I prefer to get a new lower end machine rather than that one. Floppies are pretty obsolete these days.

Just buy one of the customizing programs which also has the disk manager and you can download from your embroidery designs in your computer to a disk. I bought the older customizing and digitizing for my computer about 8 years ago. They are still working just fine.
