A very dear friend has requested a quilt in pinks and mauves/purple with butterflies and flowers. I would welcome any suggestions. Many thanks.

Just go online and look for free quilt patterns with butterflies. I just know you will find some there.

Carol Armstrong has a book called Butterflies & Blooms with some beautiful patterns. Bea Oglesby also has a book. Don't recall exact title at the moment & that book is pricey if you do find it.

I just finished collecting the fabric for a butterfly quilt. It's not yer regular obvious butterfly quilt. No pattern, just something I drew up from a picture. when I finish a coupla blocks, I'll post them.

You can find anything online! There is a site with just bug fabrics:

http://www.bugfabric.com/

They also have other animals and coordinating fabric, but if you want a specific insect, that's the place! looks like they ship internationally.

You could use applique or pieced butterfly patterns or butter fly fabrics or a combination.
