I am making costumes for my grandsons and on one, after I pressed the neck facing, I now have a shine on the outside. Doesn't look so great! Does anyone know of some way to get rid of this?

don't have lots of time

I think I remember something about using vinegar...google it - or maybe someone else remembers

to avoid that always use a pressing cloth. I sometimes just use a fat quarter!

Thanks, I'll try that. I have been working on cotton so much that I forgot that polyester has that tendency.
