Need help w/cleaning Psychedelic 4 Patch Posey
Talked w/my DGD yesterday. Here is the post about her finding her quilt. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...e-t263153.html
The quilt was folded in quarters w/the backing out. I think what saved the quilt top was the Soft & Bright polyester batting. Cotton would have burned. She's sending it w/her DF (my DS) when he goes down to visit, hopefully at Easter. She said it was soaking wet. I told her to lay it out in the yard, on a sheet, backing side up, so that it could dry. I think that I'm going to separate the top from everything else. I think that the batting will definitely hold the smoke odor.
I need suggestions for cleaning. Had some good ideas from the above post.

WOW, I have been reading your posts. I have always used a product called LINEN WASH made in USA (Florida). It removed blue-be gone on a quilt top that a customer had ironed. Just make sure whatever you use that it has no bleach or anything caustic. Best of luck.
