I'm president of our quilt guild. We are having our challenge quilt showing next Thursday. Just dawned on me that we need a way to hang the quilts to display them at our meeting. Will probably be 20-30 quilts. Variety of sizes. Would prefer to have them hanging.

    Any ideas???

If you have a small room and are not able to tack things to the walls, maybe you could run some clotheslines? I've seen wooden clothes dryer racks used as well. If someone had an old treadle cabinet you could place a few quilts laying on/over it.

while on the road, I fine it best to stick a corner in the windwo and roll it up -- instant display.

at home, we close pin to the gutterz of the house and barrn. Works fo us.

We used stepladders and ran long poles between them and draped the quilts over the poles. Since some of the poles were iron one member made some fabric sleeves to go over the poles. Worked for us and easy to put up and take down.

Our small quilt club had our first show last Sept. at the LQS. We had to use every available apparatus we could find. We had planned on 20-30 like you all. We ended up getting 64 so I think if I were you I'd try to make arrangements for more quilts so that you won't be overwhelmed like we were. Good luck to you and I wish you all the best.
