Need ideas to spruce up my blah quilt top please

I was staring at your quilt and realized that if you take one row of the (blocks) off the right side and put them onto the other left side of the quilt, the pattern that is in the middle will appear on the left side. Then you will have six windmills, and the quilt will seem to make more sense. I think that is what makes the quilt pattern go astray See it?

Also ... if you take one of the ends off and add to the other end .... more windmills!
At least I am pretty sure ... it's hard to tell with the areas that are cut off in the photo.
Just watch, before you move top to bottom, or bottom to top, that the alignment will be right.
Likewise re the sides.
I don't think mentioned til now .... but you could take the sections apart and put in sashings.

Some people like understated. I don't think it is blah. I think it is pretty. It's not in your face, but it has it's charm.
You could do a neutral border, then a gold stop border to pop those golds, then a navy or dull aqua outer border. It might surprise you.

Is there a fabric in the line that has more pattern and uses the blue, the teal, and the gold? If so, I’d use that to make a wide border. I like those colors together!
