using 2 colors for a block

There are zillions of them. Google '2 color quilt patterns' and you'll get lots of hits. Irish Chain is one that I can think of off the top of my head. You might also want to Google 'Red and White Quilt Show'. You'll see over five thousand red and white quilts from that. Good Luck

I agree with Rose L.
If the two colors are high contrast Hunters Star is another nice two color quilt.

I love the old traditional blocks made in 2 colors, especially yellow and off-white. My bucket list has the Dolly Madison Star, also known as "Santa Fe" and "President's Block".
I also like the Basket quilt block done in 2 colors. Lots of neat ideas out there! Whatever you choose will be awesome!

I recently did my first 2-color quilt. The pattern name is Peppermint Stars by Dani Sawtelle www.quiltedladibug.com
I really like the way this one was strip-pieced and the extra HSTs I got from making the Corn and Beans part of the block was incorporated ala Bonnie Hunter into the border.
