Default Need a Name for this Log Cabin Challenge Wallhanging

This is the second wallhanging that I have made for our guild's President's Challenge this year. It had to be mainly log cabin blocks, it could not be more than 24" square, it had to have black and/or white fabrics, and it could include other blocks besides log cabins.

I got the idea for this quilt from Flavin Glover's "Row Houses" quilt that was selected as one of the twentieth century's 100 best American quilts. It was the cover picture for her book "A New Look at Log Cabin Quilts" published in 2003.

I designed my quilt on graph paper and used freezer-paper piecing to make the blocks. I would totally choose different fabrics in some areas if I were going to do this over, but this ain't goin' to Houston. Finished is good enough.

I'm at a loss on what to name it. Do you have any ideas?

How about The Sun On my Roof or Sun Rays on Roof Tops. I seem to have been grabbed by that sun shining down. Good luck with the challenge.

PS: Is that you sky diving in the photo?

It's a great quilt but I'm not good with names and doubt you'd be able to use; "We'll leave the lights on for you!".

Yes! It's my favorite wingsuit photograph.
