Thank you all for the great suggestions and complements. I do like starbursts so that is what I am going to go with.

I saw the stars, but also the sashing around the stars and the position of all, my first thought was "Hopscotch". I guess that's the childhood rearing it's head.

Northern Lights came to mind too even before I read the other posts. May call it "Stars in the Northern Lights".

Star flowers because the middle block looks like a flower surrounded by stars.

I'm glad you're using Starbursts, because the Aurora Borealis are SHEETS of color, not star shapes.
