Hi, Just saw the posting requesting pics of bargellos. Will try to attach a couple that I have done. The first was from a pattern that came with a wedge tool by Cheryl Phillips. The others were from some that I more or less designed myself except for the Butteryfly which is from another of Cheryl's patterns. Lets see if this is going to work. The fairy one was done after taking a Fairy class from Linda Poole. I never did get around to sending it to her as she had requested. Take the class and enjoy it. They are a lot of fun. rnjoy

This was a fun quilt. The pattern is Twisted Bargello. I loved the way it turned out.

One of the first quilts I ever made was a bargello. Oh man, I held the fabric so tight that I stretched the center... HAH It turned out beautiful and is living in Finland but not sure I will attempt again. My cat also helped out by swirling my fabric strips around and that was a mess... Having a rack to hang your stips over helps tremendously.

The examples shown here are lovely. ALMOST, makes me want to make another. I made a trip around the world that I used florals in and it resembles a Bargello.....

One of my first attempts at quilting, I did a simple one for a quilt challenge in our group. The blue watery material just under the hot pink one was the common piece we all used. They all came out so different. Most of the women did landscape art type quilts.

After I made all the strips and put them together I machine quilted it and it was the first time I had ever done that! The pillow was an afterthought to use up the leftovers. Too bad I didnt get a close up. There are seahorses and hermit crabs and starfish and bubbles in the other pieces.
