I typically don't use such similar fabrics together. I would vote for something different in sashing. I like the stripey idea or print of some kind with the red/teal? The white would need something between it and the blocks. I actually like two or three or more borders - just because!

Love these fabrics !!!!!!!...the white is safe and calm and quiet - the purple is pizzazz !!!! ..... do what matches the feel/look you are going for and it will be "right" whichever you choose.
