Needing ideas...

Use the "cheater's" method.....use half square triangles in the corner instead of making the Y seam!
Do you have alot of scraps? Do a string quilt...those are easy, fast and always produce a nice looking quilt!

Hey, I got kind of an idea going. Don't know where its going just yet, but tell me what you think so far.
I think I want to go for a Goth-ish kind of theme for my next quilt. And I think I know just who its going to go to. Tee hee.

Making something that takes so long to complete can be heartbreaking if the other person doesn't appreciate it. I know. I made one for my Mom about 10 or 11 years ago. It was a Mothere's Day gift. I used hexagons like in the grandmother's flower garden pattern and in the center of each 'flower" was a family picture. That quilt has never seen the light of day since then. I am sorry yours wasn't appreciated. That hurts I know. But move on; plan your next project and go from there. The hurt will ease up over time. I don't mean to say you will forget it, but you will rise above it.
