    Annette,
I really don't know about the nine-patch variation pattern that you are talking about, but if you would go to google and type in nine patch variation quilt pattern, perhaps it will find it for you....you may haft to scroll around until you find exactally what you are looking for. or perhaps someone else that is veiwing this quilting board will know what you are wanting and can give you the information that you are needing.
    good luck...

YES! Pictures are so inspirational and like everyone else has said, super ideas come from seeing what other creative people are doing. I also learn better by seeing as well as reading. Show and Tells are the best! I vote YES! Thanks for setting this up.

    Laura:
You will be VERY surprised at how quickly you start recognizing quilt patterns. I know I sure was. Enjoy and keep on quilting.

I think that is a great idea. I am trying to find the "perfect pattern" for a black and white quilt and by looking at pictures, etc I can perhaps find one that I would like to do in a similar pattern.

As as new quilter, I think this would be great - I love looking at completed quilts, not just patterns. Anything to help me would be great!
