:D I bought a pattern at Paducah and read this on the last page. This product is copyrighted. The reproduction of the templates is an infringement of this copyright, EVEN FOR PERSONAL USE. Templates are for one use only, not to be traced. To order additional templates visit our website: ______________

 I had already traced them onto freezer paper before reading the last page. I guess I was suppose to cut the paper templates out and pin those to the freezer paper???? I think not. I told DH to have bail money handy!

Wow! That copyright message is harsh and nasty!

What kind of pattern was it? Would you mind sharing the name? I'm interested in the name of the publisher.

Thanks.

Wow. I hate to admit it, but I would have traced them also. I just hate having cut-up patterns!

If I buy a pattern, that makes it mine, if I want to burn it, trash it, trace it, or, whatever. Nobody will tell me different. I never cut the paper pattern out of my quilt books. I always trace and make sturdy ones from cardboard or plastic just in order to keep my books looking nice.

what they say and what is actually true may be two very different things.

I know you're not kidding, so I won't ask if you are. Are they serious? Yes, please post the name of the publisher. I do not want to do business with anyone like that. I'd post bail money if I had it! This just is not right.

Seems to me that if you buy a pattern, then you have the right to reproduce it for your own personal use. I know you aren't supposed to sell it or give it away, but it IS your pattern since you bought it, so use it however you choose!
