You will love this machine. For the price it is full of features, including the one I love the most...automatic needle threading...and just sews and sews and sews! I recently upgraded to a Brother Innovis 1250D with embroidery feature but kept my 6000i because its such a good machine. Enjoy. Good choice.

I'm so happy for you. It's always such a treat to get a new machine. I think I'll go & see this machine at some shop, so I know what this is all about. I have a Janome, I really like, but I still always like to see what's all out there.

I have the same machine, too, and really do like it. I have had it about a year now, and use it almost more than my main Pfaff 7570, which I love. I do love the buttonholes on the Brother, they are so easy. Hope you enjoy it ass much as I do.

This is exactly what I gave my next door neighbor surrogate granddaughter for her First Holy Communion gift. She's been learning to sew on my Elna since she was 6 and caught "The Sewing Bug". It's a great machine and she loves all of those stitches.

How reliable is this machine? I have found a place I can bid on one of these. I wasn't sure about the reliability of 'em.

I have this machine going on 7 years and I LOVE it. Of all my machines this is my favorite.
