Pearland..I've been to Quakertown Quilts (I think they just have fabric). I was thinking about going to Sew Contempo (I think it is in Clear Lake). Have you heard anything about that? I only have a 5 hour window to buy the thing. I have 3 small boys (5,2,2) and this week is their LAST week of Mother's Day Out and I need to do it this week on Thursday or Tuesday. I will never be able to make such an expensive purchase with them in tow.

I have a brother CS6000i which works great, but here's the thing you need to buy the correct bobbin for the machine. I know I had tension problems too, turns out the bobbin I was using was just slightly off in diameter but the right hieght, which caused the tension problems.
