New Joann Fabrics opened in Baton Rouge

I am happy to report a very successful experience. The store opened yesterday but I missed that. Today there were a number of customers and there were 3 ladies cutting fabric. They are using the number system to keep it all straight. They measured out an inch or two to give a straight line so I got my full yardage. I asked a question and the clerk got the manager who offered to order something for me but it wouldn't have worked for me. At the checkout they had 4 cashiers and I was able to use all my coupons on the regular price merchandise, even the one on my iphone.

The interesting part was that I was on the phone with my daughter in law in WA State and turns out must be that all the stores are arranged the same way with pretty much the same stock. We picked out fabric for pillow case dresses - ended up with Keepsake Calicos.

They did have the Singer Anniversary machine on display. Fun to look at in person.

I know I will be back!!
