All I can say is WOW!. They opened a new store on July 16 in a town about 30 minutes from where I live and I had my husband take me there yesterday (it was his turn to drive). I didn't buy any fabric but I walked through the whole store. I've never seen a Joann's this big. They have everything in fabric and crafts. I need to go back without my husband so I can really spend some time and money there.

They are having their Grand Opening starting this next Thursday. Can't wait to go back.

We have one of those. This summer has been so hot that the store is too, even though it has AC. Just so darn big I guess it's hard to regulate, and with doors opening etc. But in the nicer weather it's fun to take your time. I can't concentrate when it's this hot :)

Oh, I didn't say I didn't buy anything. I just didn't buy any fabric. I bought a few other things, but I don't like browsing the fabric with my husband in tow. He just follows me around like a lost puppy.

I will go back next week when they have their Grand Opening and buy fabric.

Ditto!!! I go when my husband isn't with me. His question is always "Don't you have enough fabric?" WELL, NO!!! So I go by myself and put it away before he sees it. Much less stressful that way.
