They aren't just stalking the elderly, they are stalking everyone!

Every so often (like every few months) I get a 'renewal' notice on my subscriptions.. Funny how that is as it's only 4 months into my 2yr subscription.. They just tack on the 'time' to your plan.. I now keep track of when I ordered- when it should end and how much it was so when it finally DOES become time to renew I can - or not!

I received the same CD from Fons & Potter and I too ignored the bills they kept sending. After awhile they quit sending them. Like they said in the letter, since I didn't order it, I was not obligated to pay for it. I don't like that kind of marketing either. Turns me off, so I would never subscribe to their magazine either, for that reason.

When Mother-in-law passed, we noticed her magazines subscriptions were paid 10 years out (she was 89)! I wrote letters asking for refunds (thinking this was a nice chunk of money) and the reply I got was she had ordered through a Marketing company and I needed to go through them! So now I am getting her magazines - for the next 10 years...
