Default New Pfaff Powerquilter 16 Issues

Hi Guys,

Well my lovely Pfaff Powerquilter 16.0 arrived today and I am just a bit concerned that there seems to be paint missing and chipped from it! Did any of your machines arrive with chipped paint?

I will call the dealer tomorrow, but I don't want to complain if they are all like this.

Is that supposed to be a new machine? If so, I would certainly complain.

I'd check to make sure everything is working before calling. Then tell them you didn't expect to pay full price for damaged goods. AS DH says, "I paid for new merchandise and the privilege of putting in any dents or dings myself, or not."

I would want a replacement that was not chipped.

No way should a new machine look like that. Take pictures and talk to dealer immediately. Too much money for dinged up machine.

I would politely give them the opportunity to correct their mistake. A new machine should look new. That one does not...

I agree with all the above comments, especially about the taking pictures part - if the local dealer isn't helpful then take it up with Pfaff worldwide. You can find their contact info on the website.

I would take the pictures quickly too. Let them know you haven't even had time to use it. It arrived that way.

If you paid for a New Machine You Receive a new machine! Thats not acceptable. You can complain in a perfessional way. Probably get better service if you do. Good Luck!!
