Wondering if I should miter this last border?

I am not a good one to ask about mitering, but just wanted to say your quilt has many pretty colors in it. Thank you for sharing with us.

From the picture, it looks like your border width is wider at the bottom than the side. If this is the case, it might be difficult to miter. Was there a reason you considered mitering? I generally do standard borders unless I am working with stripes or specific border type style fabric.

i don't miter unless the fabric pattern needs to make a specific pattern at the corners. the fabric you have chosen won't make a pattern by mitering.

This picture is awful! but I was trying to learn how to post pictures and finally learned how. I will post a better picture of it showing the next border which has stripes in it. Now this picture is even worse! Posting pictures is certainly a learning curve for me!

I mitre my borders most of the time. Just like the look of them. The borders on sides, top & bottom do have to be the same width.

I do think it would look better mitred because of the stripes. Cute quilt.
