Does anyone wonder why the plastic bobbins can't be labeled with their number for easier identification? Even when purchasing them in some shops they are packaged without being numbered. I can't tell you how many times I've bought the wrong size.

Not to mention once you get them home, and you have machines that use different sizes :D:D:D

It would make it so much better if they put what machines they fit on the package.

The plastic ones for my Husqvarna have an "H" on them. You always know which way the bobbin is wound and inserted into the machine. They are not interchangeable with anything.

I find that the 66 ones are smaller and have rounded sides. The `15s are flat on the sides. but those are the only two I use, except for the featherweight and they are easy to identify.

I agree with you. I have a White, Singer, Brother and it is so hard to get them right I have bought 15's and some have a slit which won't fit the White. I have read the pkg but they don't list all the machines. I even asked at Joanne's and they said they didn't have the one for the White and the repair man said yes they do they just don't know it. I bought some from him so I could take and match at the store and they do have them. It seems like I have so many bobbins with thread on them and have always got to get more at least the 15's fit my brother so all is not lost if I buy wrg or they may fit my Kenmore which isn't my fav. machine but in a pinch. Good Luck Sue

I am sure that would make too much sense..lol. My dealer sells bobbins for Viking (class 15), but she has been buying them cheap somewhere...well, guess what? That do not fit properly and are constantly bouncing around/ popping up inside of the case. I would rather get what I am paying for, but had no idea they were not the same.
