There are lots of videos and instructions out there. Here's a good one:

Check out the videos done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt co. I think she has an Attic Window tutorial.

Keep it simple. It can be a difficult pattern having to do a "Y" seam. Here is a simpler pattern:

There is also a video from Jenny of MSQC but she is using a panel:

If you ever need any help, I found my LQS to be an asset when I sought help. I am someone who learns better one on one. Welcome to this board.

Ditto and others seem to feel the same. Jenny makes it look so easy because she is easy to follow.

I can't help you, as I''m a newbie quilter myself, but I can tell you that you've picked a great place to learn! The folks on this board are phenomenal. Happy quilting!

Welcome! To quilting and to the Board! I concur on checking out the Jenny Doan Missouri Star Quilt tutorial. She always finds an easier, more fun way to make a block & quilt. Check out her tutorials on you tube or go to the site for her shop. And remember, quilting is fun, have a good time, and make new friends!
