Default New ruler? To me anyway.....

Just watched a video on you tube from heirloom creations demoing a prairie point/ ric rac maker type ruler called Quick Points....anyone have this? Seems a bit pricey, but if it's a keeper it may be worth it......
No affiliation..just curious ....Nancy's notions has this also, but also something cheaper, but don't know how that works..no video....no pics on how to......anyone tried it?

I make mine the old fashioned way, one at a time, and usually every other one is different, you know, blue white blue white

I have it as they sell it at our LQS and I love making ric rac with it. Yes it was pricey. But I have had fun with it and use a lot of big ric rac at Christmas on stockings etc and can use coordinating fabrics.

I have one size of it. I think it comes in three sizes. It's fun and fast to use. I haven't used it but for one quilt so far. No measuring or math just fold and sew.

There is a video out there in YouTuberspace about prairie points. I've checked quilt shops here and they don't carry. Video I watched was a prairie point strip and they used different colors. No ruler.

I'm with Lynnie, I make my prairie Points the old way. They work for me.
I have bought a few rulers I thought would be very useful. I did not find them to be, so I don't use them.

I found a way to make the prairie points so they always turn out an equal distance from each other. Fold the strip in half the long way and fold one point toward you and the next point away from you. I forgot where I learned it, but it is fun. If you want two colors, you sew the two strips together.
